Murla is a small unassuming village found to the west of the Jalon Valley beyond Parcent. Its ‘claim to fame’ is that is the capital of the game known as ‘Pelota Valenciana’. The game is taught in Murla and the best players come from around the Valecian community to play in Murlas’ narrow streets. Games are played every week-end afternoon.
Another point of interest in Murla is the fortified church where illuminated crypts and reconstructed towers are lit up at night.
